Canon in D, Bach’s Arioso and the first movement of his
Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Bach/Gounod’s Ave Maria,

Story; “Processional” by guitar virtuoso Will Ackerman and “If You Believe”

include four selections by famed instrumentalist Paul McCandless on oboe and
French Horn: the above mentioned Arioso and Ave Maria,
as well as Ravel’s Menuet from Le Tombeau de Couperin and Mozart’s
Ave Verum Corpus. Also highlighted is legendary Irish flutist Sir James
Galway backed by the Munich Radio Orchestra, with a unique rendition of
Pachelbel’s Canon.
One of Windham Hill’s most popular and enduring ensembles,
the Turtle Hill String Quartet, performs the Nocturne from Borodin’s
String Quartet No.2 while the Modern Mandolin Quartet delivers a
memorable rendition of the famed first movement of
Brandenburg Concerto’s No.
