An exciting collection of cutting-edge artists that will fuel the desire for the finest in romantic flamenco music.

Meet some of the world's hottest flamenco guitarists...

Jesse Cook

Jesse Cook creates a musical vision which illustrates how the world's cultures and traditions, both old and new, can be uniquely woven together. Born in Paris, Cook spent his early years in southern France and Spain in an atmosphere rich in art, music, and literature, and returned there years later to rediscover the flamenco music of his childhood. His exciting talents have made him one of the pre-eminent New Flamenco guitarists today with his music heard at the 1999 Pan Am Games, the Nagano Olympics, HBO series Sex In The City as well as in the short film Hommage a Alfred Le Petit starring Roman Polanski.

Oscar Lopez

Great talent cannot be contained. So it is with Oscar Lopez he is nonstop, relentless, impossible to ignore or resist. Three-time Juno Award nominee, Lopez's music is widely recognized for its eclectic mixture of flamenco, rock and blues. One thing remains constant in his music, as Lopez mentions, "There is always a strong Latin beat, a Spanish beat. Latin, definitely, because that's me, but there is so much other music that has touched me."

Chuscales

In Caló, the language of the Gitanos, Chusco means the crunchy end of a loaf of bread. Chuscales, or Chusco for short, refers to a person who is a "guitar-cruncher", the very best. José Luis Valle, better known as Chuscales, is just that - a guitarist's guitarist with consummate skill and deep understanding who has taught many of the great performers of New Flamenco. Chuscales shares his great gift with new students and flamenco fans around the world. As he mentions, "I'm not selfish with music it's not mine. God gave it to me, so I have to give it to others."
