Willie and Lobo Willie Royal grew up around the world as the son of an Air Force officer. He broadened his study of the classical violin by exploring many different instruments and styles. Wolfgang "Lobo" Fink, from the Bavarian village of Tiesendorf, traveled to southern France and Spain to live with Gypsies and study their music. The two met in Mexico where they began their musical collaboration. Often constructing arrangements on stage, Willie and Lobo base their spontaneous, improvisational styles on the passion of the musical moment.
