About the Artist

Altan’s zest is contagious and their music is irresistible! In fact, few Celtic bands have had a wider impact than Altan after nearly 20 years of worldwide touring and a quarter million units sold. The seeds of the band lie in the music and fun of gatherings in the pubs of Donegal — spirited fiddles, foot-tapping rhythms, and voices singing bittersweet ballads.
